Josh attended TMA, Utt, and graduated from Beckman High School in 2022.
Current Student
Josh is a 2nd year History and Political Science major at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa. His aspirations include earning a social science teaching credential before exploring graduate education in school counseling.
Community involvement
Josh has been a volunteer with the City of Tustin Parks and Recreation Department for 9 years. During his time with the city, he was selected to serve on both the Tustin Street Fair and Chili Cook Off and Tustin Tiller Days Committees.
in 2020, he was nominated by the City of Tustin to receive the CA Parks and Recreation Society's Volunteer Merit Award, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the community.
Recently, he has been more involved with the Miss Tustin Scholarship Association. He volunteers at their events and was even a "Mr. Tustin" contestant in 2024
Professional Experience
Right out of high school, Josh began working for the Irvine Unified School District as an Elementary School Physical Education Coach. He then moved on to serve as a special education paraeducator working with middle school students in TUSD. Josh also served two years as a substitute paraeducator within Tustin Unified, and gained extensive experience working with a variety of student populations and classifications.
